Terms of Service
Effective 2026-08-02. dTAOscan ("the service") is operated by DRM3 Labs Corp. ("DRM3 Labs", "we"). Using dtaoscan.io or its API means you accept these terms.
The service
dTAOscan indexes public Bittensor (Subtensor) chain state and serves it as pages and a signed JSON API. The service is in open alpha: features change without notice, and continuity is not guaranteed.
Not a financial intermediary
dTAOscan is an information service only. It is not a broker-dealer, exchange, trading venue, money services business, money transmitter, custodian, or investment adviser, and it is not registered as any of these. We never hold, custody, or transmit your funds or keys, and we never execute, route, or facilitate any transaction on your behalf. Any wallet or address you look up shows public on-chain data only; nothing on this site connects a wallet or moves value.
Eligibility
You must be of legal age and legally permitted to use the service where you are. You represent that you are not located in, and are not a resident or national of, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not on any government restricted-party or sanctions list. The service is void where prohibited, and you are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
Acceptable use
Anonymous API access is rate limited (currently 10 requests per minute per IP). Do not evade rate limits, resell raw access, disrupt the service, or misrepresent dTAOscan data as your own measurement. API keys are personal; keep them secret and we may revoke keys that abuse the service.
Cookies and usage measurement
dTAOscan sets a first-party cookie to count anonymous usage, and offers optional analytics cookies through a consent banner. We use this to measure how the service is used so we can improve the experience and the product. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising. You may accept or decline analytics, and change that choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Data and intellectual property
On-chain facts are public and carry no ownership claim by us. Our decodings, aggregations, signals, receipts, site design, and code are proprietary to DRM3 Labs. You may quote and link to dTAOscan data with attribution; signed receipts travel with the data and verification is encouraged.
No warranty, no liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DRM3 Labs Corp., its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including trading or financial losses, lost profits, or lost data, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its data, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice. You use the data at your own risk and are responsible for verifying anything you act on.
To the extent any liability is not lawfully excluded, the total aggregate liability of DRM3 Labs Corp. to you for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which is US$0 for free use) or US$100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DRM3 Labs Corp. and its affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing anything, you agree to first contact us via DRM3 Labs (drm3.io) and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter for 30 days. Any dispute proceeds on an individual basis only, not as a class action. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use is acceptance.
